Meet Chef Elly

Street flavor meets culinary finesse.

Elly Saúl Rosario Grau, the “ man”, the “figure “was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. A chef with international training and a mission: to turn street food into a cultural experience, with identity, intention, and next-level flavor.

He studied at the Instituto Gastronómico Mariano Moreno in Argentina and the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners (ICIF)—but his true recipe for success was born back home, where he built a career rooted in bold creativity, brand building, and food that tells a story.

Elly is the creator of Los Jefes Street Food, Elly’s Hot Dog, and Mr. Sándwich—three urban concepts that flipped the script on fast food in the Dominican Republic. Think quality ingredients, Caribbean sazón, and a streetwear-inspired aesthetic that’s as craveable as the food.

But for Elly, it’s more than flavor.

It’s storytelling. It’s culture. It’s a vibe.

Every bite is designed to connect—with the city, with the roots, and with the people who live the hustle.

So, what’s in it for your brand?

Elly doesn’t just cook—he builds movements. His concepts have redefined what street food can be: stylish, soulful, and scalable. If your brand wants to ride the wave where culture and cuisine collide, he’s already leading it.

At Ragestar, we call that: street food with a passport and a point of view.
